Website Design and Hosting

A site that loads fast, ranks, and stays patched, hosted by the people who already look after your domain and your email.

Most small-business websites are somebody's side project that nobody has touched since launch. The plugins are three years out of date, the hosting is on a plan nobody can find the login for, and the domain and email are tangled together in a way that makes any change frightening. It works until it doesn't, and then nobody knows who to call.

What’s included

  • Design and build

A site built around what your customers need to do (find you, understand what you offer, and get in touch) rather than around a template's demo content.

  • Hosting and maintenance

Hosted, patched, backed up, and monitored on infrastructure we run. Updates are part of the service instead of something you notice when the site breaks.

  • Domain and DNS, properly

Domain, website, and mail records handled together, which is what stops a website change from taking your email down with it.

  • Security and certificates

HTTPS, security headers, and the ongoing patching that keeps a site from becoming somebody else's spam relay.

  • Search and local visibility

Built to be found: proper structure and markup, accurate business information, and a Google Business Profile that matches the site.

  • Changes without a ticket queue

New hours, a new service, a new photo, the small changes that otherwise sit undone for a year.

Who this is for

Businesses whose current site is outdated, slow, or unmaintained, and anyone who would rather have one provider for the website, the domain, the email, and the security.

We have done this

A dealership that runs its own website

Sangaree Homes has sold manufactured homes in Summerville since 1984. They needed a website that showed what was on the lot today, not what was on it whenever someone last had time to call a web company.

Questions we get

Straight answers. If yours isn’t here, ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

  • Do you host the sites you build?

Yes, and it’s the reason the arrangement works. Because we already manage the domain, DNS, and email for most clients, a website change and a mail record change are the same conversation instead of three vendors pointing at each other.

  • Can you take over a site somebody else built?

Often, yes. It depends on what it’s built on and what state it’s in. We will look at it and tell you honestly whether it is better maintained or rebuilt, including the case where the honest answer is that the current site is fine.

  • Will the site show up on Google?

Ranking is earned over time rather than switched on, but the foundations matter and most small-business sites fail them: no page describing each service, no location information, missing or duplicate page titles, and a Google Business Profile that disagrees with the website. Those are the things we get right at build time.
