Privacy notice
What this website collects, why, and what we do with it. Written to be read rather than to be defensible. If anything here’s unclear, ask and we will explain it.

The short version
We collect what you send us through the contact form, and basic analytics about how the site is used. We use it to answer you and to understand which pages are useful. We don’t sell it, we don’t share it with advertisers, we do not run retargeting, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
If you would rather we deleted everything we hold about you, email info@kittsit.com and we will, unless we’re legally required to keep it.
Who we are
Kitts IT Solutions, LLC is a South Carolina limited liability company based in Moncks Corner, SC. We’re the data controller for information collected through this website. You can reach us on (843) 312-9493 or at info@kittsit.com.
What we collect, and when
When you submit the contact form
Your name, email address, and message, which are required; and your phone number, company name, and headcount range, which are optional. We also record which page you submitted from and any campaign parameters in the address bar, so we know which parts of the site are working.
A one-way fingerprint of your IP address
Not your IP address itself. It’s combined with a secret value held on our server and hashed, which produces an identifier we can use to spot repeated abuse of the form but which can’t be turned back into an address. If that secret isn’t configured, nothing is stored at all.
Your browser's user agent string
The short line your browser sends identifying itself. Used for the same anti-abuse purpose.
SMS consent, if you give it
If you tick the SMS box, we record that you ticked it, when, and the exact wording you were shown. We keep the wording rather than just a yes so that we can show you what you agreed to, which is the point of consent.
Analytics, if enabled
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, which record pages visited, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device you used, and how you moved through the site. Clarity also records anonymised interaction sessions. Both are configured to mask input fields, and neither is loaded at all unless a measurement ID is configured.
Anti-spam verification
The contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from scripts. It sets no tracking cookie and does not build a profile of you. It is a privacy-preserving alternative to a traditional captcha, chosen for that reason.
What we don’t collect
Payment details
No card number, expiry date, or security code is ever entered on this website, and none passes through our servers. Every payment method on our payments page hands you to the payment provider's own site or gives you details to use in your own banking app. This is a deliberate design decision, not an omission.
Anything for advertising
We run no advertising pixels, no retargeting tags, and no cross-site tracking, and we don’t sell or share personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
Accounts or passwords
This website has no customer login. Our support portal is a separate system run by NinjaOne, and our payment links are on the payment providers' own sites. If a page claiming to be us asks you to enter a password, it isn’t us.
Text messages and your mobile number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with subcontractors providing support services, such as our messaging provider, and only to the extent needed to deliver the service.
We only text you if you’ve asked us to. That means ticking the SMS box on our contact form, texting us first, or telling us on a call that you would like updates by text. The box is never ticked for you, and leaving it alone changes nothing about how we handle your enquiry.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us or of any service we provide. Reply STOP to any message and we stop, immediately, and nothing else about your account changes. Reply HELP, or call us, for help.
Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply according to your plan with your carrier.
Why we’re allowed to hold it
Because you sent it to us in order to get a response, and because we’ve a legitimate interest in operating a website, keeping it secure, and understanding whether it works. If you’re contacting us about becoming a client, we also need it to take steps toward an agreement with you.
Who else sees it
Our team
Enquiries reach the whole team instead of one person, so they get answered whether or not any individual is available.
Google Workspace
Our email runs on Google Workspace, so a message you send us is stored there as email.
Analytics providers
Google and Microsoft, for the analytics described above, and only if analytics are enabled.
Cloudflare
For anti-spam verification on the contact form, if enabled.
Nobody else
We don’t sell, rent, or trade personal information. We don’t pass it to advertisers or data brokers. If we were ever legally compelled to disclose something, we would tell you unless prohibited from doing so.
Where it’s kept
Enquiries are stored in a database on a server we control, in the United States. Backups are encrypted. Access is limited to the people who need it.
We’re a United States business serving United States clients. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead anywhere are kept for up to two years and then deleted, long enough that we recognize you if you come back, and not indefinitely. Records relating to clients are kept for as long as we work together and then for as long as tax and contract law requires. Analytics data is kept according to the provider's retention settings.
Your choices
Ask what we hold
Email info@kittsit.com and we’ll tell you.
Ask us to correct or delete it
We will, unless we are legally required to keep it. There is no form and no fee.
Opt out of analytics
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal, which most privacy-focused browsers and extensions can send. A browser-level tracking blocker will also stop the analytics scripts loading.
Refuse cookies
You can block them in your browser. Nothing on this site breaks if you do. There’s no functionality that depends on being tracked.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies to recognize a returning browser. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived token while it verifies the contact form.
We do not show a cookie banner. We’re a United States business with no advertising or retargeting, so consent isn’t required for what we do, and a banner that asks permission for nothing while making the site harder to use is theatre rather than privacy.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we change this page at the same time and update the date at the top. We won’t quietly start doing something this page says we don’t do.
Questions about any of this? Email info@kittsit.com or call (843) 312-9493. A real person will answer, and “why do you need that?” is a perfectly good question to ask an IT company.
