Website terms

Short, and scoped to this website only. If you’re a client, the agreement covering your actual work is a separate document and this page does not change it.

Last updated 1 September 2026

What this covers

These terms apply to your use of kittsit.com. They are between you and Kitts IT Solutions, LLC.

They don’t govern services we provide to clients. Those are covered by a separate written agreement, and where the two differ, that agreement wins. Nothing on this website creates a contract for services, and nothing on it’s a binding quotation.

Information here’s general

We write the content on this site carefully and we keep it accurate, including the pricing information, which is what we charge rather than a marketing figure. But it is general information about how we work, not advice about your particular situation.

Do not act on a guide or an FAQ answer as though it were advice specific to your business. Every business is different, which is why the assessment is free: it’s the point at which general information becomes advice we will stand behind.

Prices

Rates published on this site, including the $150/hour on-site rate, are current at the time of writing and apply to new work in our standard service areas. They can change. A price we quote you in writing is the price that binds us; a price on a web page is what we expect it to be.

Text messages

If you opt in to text messages, our SMS terms apply to that program and are a separate document. They cover what we send, how often, how to stop, and how your mobile number is handled.

Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us or of any service we provide, and stopping texts doesn’t affect anything else.

Links to other sites

This site links to third parties: our support portal, our speed-test server, payment providers, and vendor sites. We don’t control them and we aren’t responsible for their content or their practices. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you’re on them.

Where a link takes you somewhere that handles money, we name the destination on the page before you click it. If you ever reach a payment page from a link that appears to be ours but does not match what’s published on our payments page, stop and call us.

Using the site sensibly

  • Don’t attack it

No scanning, probing, brute-forcing, scraping at volume, or attempting to gain access to anything not intended to be public. We are a security company; we notice, and we log.

  • Don’t misuse the contact form

It’s for genuine enquiries. It’s rate-limited and monitored, and it isn’t a route for bulk or automated messages.

  • Do not impersonate us

Don’t copy this site, our name, or our branding in a way that suggests you’re us or are endorsed by us. This matters more for an IT provider than for most businesses, because impersonating us is a route to defrauding our clients.

Responsible disclosure

If you find a security problem with this website, please tell us at info@kittsit.com instead of publishing it. We’ll respond, we’ll fix it, and we’ll thank you. We will not threaten anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and without accessing or altering data that isn’t theirs.

Our content

The text, design, code, and images on this site are ours unless stated otherwise, as are our name and logo. You’re welcome to quote a reasonable extract with a link back. That’s what writing it is for. You aren’t welcome to republish pages wholesale or to reuse our branding.

Availability and liability

We try to keep this website up and correct, but we don’t guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we aren’t liable for loss arising from relying on general information published here. This doesn’t limit any liability that can’t lawfully be limited, and it doesn’t affect the obligations we owe clients under their own agreements.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, and the courts of South Carolina have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the current version is the one that applies.
