Why Kitts IT
Every national MSP says they’re local. We just are.
You aren’t buying a support tier. You are hiring a certified network engineer who lives here, answers the phone, and will drive out when the problem needs hands on it.
A small team, and all of us live here
3 people, based across Moncks Corner and Summerville. You deal with someone who already knows your setup: no tier-one script, no handoff to a stranger reading your history for the first time.
Certified, and experienced
A team with 75+ years in IT between them: including 20+ years building and running ISP and utility networks, and CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Security, and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker.
On site, not dispatched
Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston counties are a drive for us, not a shaded area on somebody's coverage map. When a problem needs hands on it, hands turn up.
Priced the way you buy
No forced per-user minimum. Monitoring-only, per-user, project work at $150/hour, or a mix, whatever matches how you operate.
Security is the default
Segmentation, MFA, patching, and tested backups come as part of the service, not as an upsell after something goes wrong.
One call for all of it
Network, cameras, phones, Microsoft 365, and the website. We deal with your ISP and vendors so you do not have to.

How it starts
Three steps, and you keep the plan either way
No sales sequence, no pressure, and no obligation to go past step three.
- 01
A conversation
Twenty minutes on what you run, what keeps breaking, and what you’re paying now. No pitch, and no obligation to go further.
- 02
An honest assessment
We look at your network, endpoints, backups, and Microsoft 365 tenant, then tell you what we find, including the parts that are fine.
- 03
A plan and a price
A written roadmap with what to fix now, what can wait, and what it costs. Yours to keep whether or not you hire us.

Sangaree Homes has sold manufactured homes in Summerville since 1984. They needed a website that showed what was on the lot today, not what was on it whenever someone last had time to call a web company.

Questions
The things people ask first
Straight answers, including the one about price.
How much does managed IT cost for a small business in Charleston?
It depends on how you buy, which is why we don’t publish a single rate card. Some clients pay a flat monthly fee for monitoring and support with no per-user charge. Others pay per user per month, which covers Microsoft or Google licensing plus endpoint support. Project and on-site work is $150/hour. Most clients combine two or three of those. A short call is usually enough to give you a real number.
What areas do you cover?
We’re based in Moncks Corner and work on site across Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston counties, Moncks Corner, Goose Creek, Summerville, Charleston, North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Hanahan. We also support clients remotely further out, including Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Florence, Conway.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. We would rather keep your business by doing the work well than by locking you into a term you regret. Terms are agreed per client and we’ll tell you plainly what notice period applies before you sign anything.
Can you work alongside our existing IT person?
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. Co-managed IT means your internal person keeps the day-to-day and we cover the parts that are hard to staff for: security, after-hours monitoring, project work, and holiday cover.
Do you install and manage security cameras?
Yes. Cameras are one of the things we’re asked for most. We install and manage Reolink and UniFi Protect systems, including the network and storage behind them, so the footage is actually there when you need it and the cameras aren’t sitting on the same network as your business systems.
What happens if something breaks outside business hours?
Monitoring and alerting run around the clock for managed clients, so in many cases we know before you do. Staffed hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with emergency cover for managed clients outside them.
