Business Phone Systems and VoIP

A phone system that rings the right person, works from anywhere, and is supported by the same people who look after the network it runs on.

We deploy and support Ubiquiti, 14IP

Voice quality problems are almost never the phone system. They’re the network underneath it: no traffic prioritization, a connection shared with everything else, or a switch that treats a call the same as a file download. Which is why buying a phone system from a vendor who never looks at your network tends to produce a support conversation where nobody owns the problem.

What’s included

  • UniFi Talk and 14IP

We install and support both. UniFi Talk suits sites already running UniFi networking; 14IP suits businesses wanting a fuller hosted feature set.

  • Number porting, handled for you

We work directly with the carriers to move your existing numbers. All you provide is the number and the name on the current account. We complete the paperwork. Porting is the step most likely to go wrong, so it’s planned rather than assumed.

  • Call routing that matches how you work

Hunt groups, hours-based routing, voicemail-to-email, and an out-of-hours path that doesn’t just ring out.

  • Network prioritization

Voice traffic prioritized properly on the network so calls stay clean when somebody starts a large upload.

  • Handsets and softphones

Desk phones where people want them, mobile and desktop apps for everyone else, all on the same system and the same number.

  • One number to call when it breaks

Because we run the network and the phones, there is nobody to hand you off to.

Who this is for

Businesses on an aging on-premise phone system, or paying per-line rates for a service that predates the internet connection it now runs over.

Questions we get

Straight answers. If yours isn’t here, ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

  • Can we keep our existing phone number?

Yes, and we handle it. We deal with the carriers directly. You provide the number and the name on the current account, and we complete the porting paperwork. Porting needs lead time and is the step most likely to cause a hiccup if rushed, so it’s scheduled deliberately and your old service stays live until the port completes.

  • Will our internet connection handle it?

Almost certainly, but it is worth checking instead of assuming. A handful of concurrent calls needs very little bandwidth; what matters far more is whether voice traffic is prioritized on your network and whether your connection is stable. We check both before quoting.

  • What happens to calls if the internet goes down?

Calls can be set to fail over to mobile numbers automatically, so an outage means calls still reach people rather than reaching nothing. That routing is configured up front, not after the first outage.
